The Amphibio technology is a

of fully rockered skis, Elan has made a
step further and developed skis without
the need to compromise between
edge grip or easy turning. Rocker
ensures full edge contact, but without
full edge grip.
Amphibio, on the other
hand, features a cambered and a
rockered edge. The botom ski with full
edge contact ensures optimal edge
grip, while the upper ski offers partial
edge contact for easy turning.
WHY GO LEFT AND RIGHT?
Regular rocker profile provides easy
turning but lacks full edge grip on
steep and icy terrain due to shorter
edge contact. Amphibio profile has
different profiles of inner and outside
edges that deliver no compromise
between edge
grip and easy turning.
Bottom ski in the turn
has full edge contact and provides
full edge grip. Upper ski in the turn
has partial edge contact and provides
easy turning.
